 One of the ADVANTAGES of working for Hess is the range and quality of benefits we offer you and your family. Each year, we check and adjust our programs to improve cost, quality and service. And we look to make enhancements that you’ll find meaningful.
The toughest challenge we face each year is rising medical costs. We’ve done our best to minimize the impact on you, and rates will increase slightly for 2019.
There is a lot of very good news to share though:
n We are giving you more Long-Term Disability Insurance (LTD) coverage, for free. If you increased your coverage last year, you no longer have to pay for it. Everyone gets
60 percent of base pay replaced up to a maximum benefit payment of $12,000 per month—at no cost.
n We are decreasing Family Accident Insurance rates.
n We are introducing a Wellness Program to help you get and stay healthy, active and secure. And while you do, you
can earn money to reduce your health care costs. We’ll share more when the program launches in January.
This guide and the tools we provide will help you decide what’s best for you and your family for 2019.
