Well-Being Is Its Own Reward

Hess cares about your well-being and wants to help you become your best self. With our wellness program, you can “POWER UP” in these four areas of well-being—emotional, social, physical and financial—to achieve a sense of satisfaction that comes with knowing you’re living your best life.

How POWER UP Works

  1. Sign up at*
    • All employees are eligible to participate.
    • Your spouse or domestic partner can sign up too at, if he or she is covered by the Hess Medical Plan. After signing up, your spouse or domestic partner can access the POWER UP portal at
  2. Earn points by completing healthy activities.
    • See a complete list of eligible activities at > Rewards. There are activities for everyone to enjoy!
  3. Get free money added to your HSA to spend or save in 2022.

$375 for you (if you earn at least 800 POWER UP points)
+$375 for your spouse or domestic partner (if they earn at least 400 POWER UP points)

Everyone can participate in POWER UP but must be enrolled in the Hess Medical Plan to earn HSA dollars.

* There’s no need to register again if you’ve already done so on or the Virgin Pulse app.
